how much space is in the back of ef hatch
I'm about to buy either a ef or eg or ek hatch I driven a ek hatch n it didn't seem to have da room I'm looking for to fit my friends I never driven or been inside a eg or a ef I'm having trouble deciding which has more space in the back for passenger I'm not looking to race or anything like that my goals are 50-75mpg n have enough rooms to fit my friends from looks the hatch looks big enough to fit 5 ppl in the back comfortably but I'm not 100% sure
also I'm 6'2 and my 4 other friends r between 5'7 to 6'0

no way are you going to fit 5 full grown men comfortably in an EF hatch. especially not the back seat. unless you are toting around 3 very petite girls in the back seat it only comfortably seats 2 in the back. besides the fact that the EF only has provisions for a maximum of 5 total. 2 front 3 back and its a tight squeeze for 3 in the back.
I hope you plan on getting an SI, because there is no way you will want to haul around you and 3-4 buddies with the dumpy *** motor that comes in the DX/LX.

The back seats are surprisingly large and can fit 2 normal sized adults.
IMO it shines best with carrying cargo. Yesterday, with no passenger seat I fit a subaru ej20 short block, floor jack, engine hoist, 4 jackstands and all the tool needed to R&R.

Ef has definitely more legroom than the ek. I'm 6' 4" and can definitely notice. The Ef is roomy in the back even for me. I've also seat 3 people in the back of my ef. They weren't bitching about comfort either but they were also drunk. 2 males 1 female.
I guess I'm going with the ef I saw 1 on craigslist for 1500 n it didn't look to bad was hoping I could find 1 for under a grand but it don't matter I ask the question btw because I use to have a s13 n a bb2 prelude n room was a problem since the front seats cancel the leg room in the back i always felt bad for my friends could only fit 3 ppl on the bb2 n s13 so I sold dem both n now I'm getting the ef
of course imma swap the motor but deciding on which motor wud b best is another subject imma b searching for answers some other time besides i think a d series vtec or wut ever other motor is gonna b able to pull us lol but until I search for that answer my concerns is on other things
I hate American cars espacially old 1s n I'm apologize if I offend any American car lover but I worked with to many that I wish I burn dem all I got battle scares from fixing dem anyway I wouldn't by a Taheo cause of the mpg n I like like the ef n eg n ek but having trouble on picking 1 until now n the ef seems to b a winner
850. that's pushing it.
my old CX hatch could carry two large females and three guys. we probably weighed total 900lbs? had to frickin' floor it to get on the highway.
ef ftw i had owned a eg and no room in the back also the back windows dont open so it gets stuffy and yes a ef with the seats folded down = room for tools motors or dead hookers or if you really put it in a way get your lady make sure the trunk is clean pop the cargo cover off set it on the back floor board n have some funn in the ef
