2000 si engine swap
i have a 2000 civic si with a b16a it drives good and everything. i will prob do a swap after a while. i was thinking bout doing k series. if anybody ever did the swap please let me know what i will need to make it an easy swap.
I have a 99 si and I was goiong to do a k-swap and I was getting a good deal on the motor but after I added up all the things I needed to do the swap I was like let me not go down that route..... Right now I got my b16 fully built waited to be boosted all my friends and people at the shop told me I should get extremly good numbers. I'm shooting for 450 to the wheels. But to be truly honest with you.... I spent over 6grand

A K-Series swap will run you about 6-7k if done right. What do you have in mind as far as the swap you want to drop in is the first thing you'd have to look at before anything. Parts can be expensive, e.g: Mounts, Conversion Harness, PS/AC Delete, K-Pro, DDS Axel's, Hybrid Racing Shift box. etc.
You have to be insane to spend that much on a k swap
For that kind of money, you could just buy an RSX that comes with that engine already
Hell, if you really want to do a k swap, buy a Fit, it would be a very cool ride and better investment for your money
