Default need help finding replaement torch for hf inverter tig

i called hf, i can get there replacemnt torch for about $90. id figured i could get a weldcraft for the same amount


i think i will go with a wp9.

ebay hasa **** load of chineese torches from 60-80 shipped.

looking for a decent price on a weldcraft wp9 with hf start button.

no suggestions?

i went back to harborferight, the stock torch had a 17 on the side, ill assume its a variation of a wp17.

You know I had one of those things, it worked pretty damn good considering it was only 240 bucks at harbor freight.

I think with the right adapters you should be able to connect a weld craft torch to it by buying the correct parts and modifying it to make it work, adding water cooling exct..


The torch for that thing is huge, the ground cable is kinda a bad connector, but over all lots of hacks exist for adding foot pedal controls and such.


I bought it over a year ago used it for probably 2 weeks and took it back, then I bought a 200DX which was about 13 times more money!
