I just became the proud owner of a 1986 CRX SI. I love the car but it has an issue that i have racked my brain and scoured the internet to solve. It normally starts good and runs fine, but it will suddenly die for no apparent reason, no codes (PE7 ecu) and no PGM-FI light. I took it for a test drive yesterday and it did it again and I finally got it running and it sounded awful like it was missing cylinders and barely made it home. Got back and it started fine and revved up great. Now I am afraid to leave the driveway. I have sprayed all the vac lines with ether and added seafoam to the tank with no change. If you would please help me with any ideas on finding this ghost I would greatly appreciate it.
