Default 05 Civic seat belt sensor help!!

Hey everyone, I have looked and looked around the web and I can not find the answer I am looking for. I am an avid seat belt wearer BUT the alarm will not stop chiming regardless of the belt being buckled or not. I have read other threads that say you can disconnect certain plugs or cut wires but that could impact the airbag system and ultimately impact the safety features of the vehicle...

So... with that said, how can I get the chiming to stop or start working properly?

Any accurate advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

Is the seat belt indicator working on the dash? If it ends up being something like a seat belt switch the dealer should replace it free of charge. Seat belt failures are under a lifetime warranty by American Honda.
