1st gen b16 CRX OIL PUMP FML...
So, I'm having this problem. After driving my car hard or for a long period of time my oil light cuts on and the bastard dies on me. So i changed the oil, then oil sending unit, come to find out i need an oil pump....
What oil pump can I use, cause I'm having hell finding one? Thanks

You should have no issues finding one, any b series pump will work. It's best to have the vtec version though, as if flows better.
For a direct replacement for your 1st gen, use a 92-93 gsr, or a 94-95 del sol B16 vtec pump

you sure its the oil pump? what led you to this conclusion? from the description it sounds like the rod bearings (but I hope not!)
if trash went through your oil pump and destroyed the clearances, it probably did more damage. look for copper colored flakes in the oil. I hope (for your sake) they're not present.

btw, i have a 1st gen b16 in one of my cars, i know it well. The oil pump you want for a direct replacement would be the two models i already mentioned! Reason being, they did not have the provision for the crank fluctuation sensor that was found on b seires 96+. Yes, you can buy the newer pump, you would need a newer lower timing belt cover too, just to make it fit, but why bother when you can get the proper fitting one from the older model in the 1st place
I worked for Honda for years, i know all about b series oil pumps. They do all fit the the block the same way. Here is a pic of what the outside differences look like

And, "if" you buy the newer pumper, you will have to switch from one timing cover the another also, as shown
