opinion question....

but if you want the best I'd go with a Tein suspension. Full Coilovers. It also depends though on your use of them...

been browsing, tien keeps poppin up. Im lookin for a stiffer ride (lol) through the turns, get to much sway right now. also on a bit of a budget, some of my peeps say tien springs only and swap the dampers when they blw later on. No track racin so dont need anything too high end.

you could do tein springs and change the shocks later..but why bother? just do both at once...

stock shocks on aftermarket springs can blow at any given time. i hear some people say they last them from 1,000 miles to 30,000 miles. i guess it depends on luck.

you might as well get a full coilover set or do shocks and springs.
im sure your ep3 has well over 30,000 miles on it, its due for new shocks soon anyways.

Go with Skunk2 springs on stock shocks. Handles like an F1 car. Real tiff ride though turns but not too harsh for regular driving.

sorry, but junk2 springs suck, the rates are all wrong and they will blow your stock dampers in weeks.

My mistake on the earlier post bro. Get Racelands. They're the best ever.

skunk2 is junk IMO, I am running their full coilovers and I am very much not impressed. Raceland is a joke on some coilover options. a good setup isn't just about what shock and spring setup you go with. If you are having a sway through corners, beef up the sway bars, control arms, tie bar. You can't do one thing and think its going to do wonders for you. one thing leads to needing to upgrade another to another. A good setup that I know of people using for track driving and daily driving is a koni yellow shock setup with ground control sleeves and extended top hats. You can basically order your spring rates in whatever you want so you can have the best setup for you. just my .02

There is no "best" suspension for the EP3. Entirely subjective.

However, if you're looking for increased rigidity in the turns, aren't really in to ricey slammed cars that ride like a POS, and aren't going to be tracking the car, then IMO, the HFP suspension kit is your ticket. Mild lowering, extremely good balance, OEM reliability, and able to take a beating 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

As much as people tend to blanket questions like this with a bunch of full coil-over kits, do yourself a favor and avoid these things like the plague. Coil-over kits in the $700-$1500 range are generally the worst pieces of crap out there. You can get fantastic suspension for the track, but not for that price. "Budget" coil-over kits are designed to get you low, but always compromise everything else. Plus, they are not durable at all. Try taking a set of Tein Super Streets or PIC or Omni, or F&F (random examples) and put them through 2 seasons of mixed daily urban driving, a few track days during the summer, and 2 Canadian or North USA winters. They die quickly.

Anyways, could go on forever on that topic. But I wont.

FWIW, get yourself an HFP kit, install, align, and get on with your life.

Junk2 yes is junk.... but Megan straight arm coilover system is actually very good! This will cause less problems when wanting to slam the EP3!

This subject has been covered many times here...

If you want a good non adjustable suspension I'd say the HFP kit is the way to go if you can find one. If you want something that is adjustable for just cruising then pretty much any coil over kit out there will do the job. If you want high performance and will use it most of the people I know are auto-xers and they will go with koni inserts and ground control coil-overs with hotchkis camber plates. Since GC use a standard race spring diameter you can always order springs with different lengths and rates to tune your suspension.
