So I just picked up a cluster for my si because my speedo was not functioning. I did not want to spend a lot incase the cluster was not the issue so I picked up one online for cheap. It works. The thing is its one of those with the white face guages and it has three wires coming out from the cluster that do not attach to anything. Can I just cut off the connectors on these and run them as a red and black wire? I dont know if there has to be like a dimmer switch or something or if i can just splice and run to the factory dimmer switch? I dont want them to be dimmable, just lite up so I can see at night.
