ok so i managed to pull the CV cups off the trans, and off the Int. shaft as well.

i cleaned the inside of them, and also cleaned the inside of the CV boots and the shaft themselves.

Now the outer joint bearings that slide into the cup were not in the cups themselves.

whenever i bought my swap from a friend, he pulled the axles and kept everything in baggies.

Well i go through the bag, and i see 6 bearings. 3 of them have the square plates, and 3 of them dont. I looked everywhere for these square plates, but no luck.

I called Oriellys, and also looked on Acuraautomotive. and their outer joint assemblies are over $200!!!!! does anyone know where i can order just these bearings? trying to save some money, and reuse these axles that are relatively brand new.

 

i think their called the rollers??

 

Autozone has remanufactured axles for like $60 a side with lifetime warranty.. use the junk you have for the core for the remans.

 

yea i went ahead and decided to get new axles. i said "EFF IT"
new axles will be order and installed friday.
