Default 68mm inside diameter springs on a 70mm spring coilover

Has anyone ever tried this and if so did it work ok.
i have a set of tein basics that came on my car when i bought it. theyve been good but im tired of the weak *** springs. ive been time attaking my car for about 2 seasons and have gotten to the point where they are holding me back. ive started saving up for a set of ksport rr's but that wont be until next year even with the hook up i get on them. i know people are gonna rag on them but i know a few pretty successful drivers running them and they really like them. so im thinking of getting some ksports that ill be able to switch out onto the rr's for rough tracks and using them on the basics but they are 68mm inside diameter and the teins are 70mm. i dont think itll be an issue but thought id check to see if anyone has done something similar. thanks in advance.
