why the HELL is the top of my car so oxidized???
alright, i have a black 92. and the top of my car looks like people just felt like putting bologna on it. is their any reason why the top of my car looks so horrible? im guessing it has to do with natures elements, but any other reasons pointing to it looking like absolute ****?? i read some posts earlier and someone mentioned they have a milano red prelude and it did the same thing, making it look of a pinkish hue. was wondering also if I MYSELF could do anything to make it look close to half decent?? thnx..
you can try compounding it but most likely the damage is permanent. remember the car is already 10 years old. if you're not the original owner then the upkeep is important. if it was waxed on a yearly basis from the original owner you have a better chance of avoiding it.
i see; well i guess im gonna try to compound it in a few weeks. its just annoying how the rest of my car is in relatively good shape, but the top looks like crapola. appreciate the input tho.
try using mother's clay bar, my top was pretty bad when i first got it and it REALLY cleaned it up nicely. i had the car repainted since that though.
Do you have T-Cut in America? That stuffs great if you use it once-in-a-while (preferably not too often unless you like the colour of ferrous-oxide.)
