95 Civic LX - Need Evaporator and Expansion Valve Diagram.
I want to replace my evaporator and my expansion valve but need a diagram to see what I need to unbolt and etc. Or maybe instructions in the Honda Civic repair manual if anyone has it. My car is a 1995 Civic LX all stock.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Here you go. You should consider replacing the evap unit with one that will accept a cabin filter. So, from a 97-01 CRV, 99-00 Civic, 98-01 Integra. Click my DIY link in sig for more info.

Went to a shop to have my AC recharged. Evacuate AC system then recharge AC with UV dye then couple weeks later, AC runs warm again. Went back to the shop couldnt find a leak, but they said that it's common for the pressure switch to leak so they changed it. Couple weeks later AC is warm again, went back to the shop and still couldn't find a leak so they were thinking it could be evap or expansion valve. I'll get another opinion from another shop today.
That shop is stealing your money. Take your car to a reputable shop that has lots of experience working on A/C systems. (Or better yet, do the work yourself). If a leak detecting dye was added to the system, then pinpointing the leak should be very routine. There are also very sensitive electronic detectors than can smell trace amounts of refrigerant from a leak. Do nothing until the leak is pinpointed.

Will update once I get back from the AC shop.
I just came home from the AC shop and thank god he found a leak with the eletronic detector. And also i had low PSI and when he charged the system just enough to check for leaks, my compressor kicks in. He stuck the detector down the AC vents and the detector was going off.
He suggest that I change evap core, expansion vavle, dryer along with all proper gaskets. Is there any other parts I should change?

Hey Ron, could you provide any diagram in replacing the evap core, expansion valve, and dryer from your sources? Can't find any diagram beside the previous post. Thank you.
What type of oil can I use to lube new o-rings? And after I'm finish installing all parts then I use r-134a oil to replace the oil I lost through the AC lines after I vacuum the system right?
THIS IS AN UPDATE FOR FUTURE SEARCH.
If you ever replace the o-rings go buy a bottle of nylog from ackits.com. That is what you need to lube the o-rings. Worth it to do the job right the first time. When you do replace the evap, expansion valve and dryer than you might as well take apart all of your lines and clean them out as well as drain the compressor of old oil and put new oil in there. Considering how the majority of us honda drivers buy our cars second hand its always good practice to do maintenance on the a/c.
