difference between F23A1 & F23A4???

Default difference between F23A1 & F23A4???

my car is 2001 accord lx 2.3L 4dr sedan

when i am looking for parts for my car many times i will encounter the question which engine i have and i do not know which one is my car and what is the difference
LX -- L4 - 2.3L 2254cc type F23A4
LX -- L4 - 2.3L 2254cc type F23A1
how do i find out exactly which one my car is?

There should be a flat spot near the left hand side facing the rear of the car
here's a picture to illustrate it (although its a B series, it applies to all D/B/H/F except the S2000 FxxC engines)

Hey im just recently starting to get into CG5s and i have an Automatic CG5 and was wondering, whats your good reason to keep it Automatic? I've have preious Automatic cars and they were pretty fast but im going to keep mine automatic just so my girl can drive it. So can you share?

well i work about 70+ hrs a week most of which are graveyard and go to school and take care of my fam so im usually extremely exhausted and want to keep all my focus on road and staying awake rather than constantly shifting up and down especially that i do a lot of city driving.
