Default Wheel bearing or Tie rod Issue ?

I recently completed a CV shaft replacement on the front passenger side that was clicking away at every turn. Now that has been put to rest.

I also hear a grinding noise from the front driver (Front Left) side wheel that increases as the speed goes up. The noise is heard from under 10 mph onwards. The inner and outer boots of the CV shaft look fine. The usual click noise from this wheel is absent too.

Before i go ahead and change the wheel bearing, i decided to confirm on it. After raising the front side of the vehicle and putting in on the jack stands, i checked the wheels for any play (with wheels on and lugs tight). The driver side had an ~10 mm play when gripped in the left and right side (sideways play). I could not feel any play in the top and bottom sides of the wheel.

Some youtube videos talk about sideways play being due to bad tie rod and the top-bottom play due to bad wheel bearing.

Also, i drove the vehicle to 40 mph and made some sharp lane changes. The noise would not go away. I could not feel any loss of steering control due to wheel wobble as well.

So, i wonder if it is the wheel bearing or the tie rod or anything else (warped rotor rubbing on the brake pads would explain the noise but not the play?). Any thoughts and advise to help fix this issue would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Kris.
