99 SI CEL problem??
I have a stock 99 SI and was trying to put on a short ram intake from a different application Integra (my brothers 1995 LS), I wasn't planning on using it, just curious to see if it would fit right in cause it looked like it did. Then I unplugged the "air sensor" from the stock intake tube and left it dangling while I started the car. The CEL came on, so I put all the stock parts back together and the CEL still remained on. Will it just turn off over time? Do i get the code read and then have it turned off? I know this is a dumb NOOB mistake, but I haven't ever had a civic before and only had this one for about 3 weeks so any help would be nice. Thanks in advance!!
Will that be accomplished by removing the positive wire from battery? I think I remember hearing thats how it was done, but ive really never done it before. So I just want to be sure before I go trying things that I "think" will work.
