Default Couple of questions so i can finish my first turbo install

almost done. i was hoping someone could answer a few questions for me so i can finish up.
first: i got a use HKS BOV which had an EVO flange on it. so i got the tool to remove the clip, i put the BOV into the HKS flange that i got as part of my kit from GO-Autoworks.com, and the BOV valve can spin around where it was stuck down in the other flange. what did i do wrong? do i need a different size clip?
next: i got my oil like kit from Stealthmode performance, it comes with a stainless braided oil return, can the return touch the downpipe? there isn't much clearance for it.
think that should just about do it, its coming along nicely otherwise. just need to get the bung welded for the oil return and (besides the questions/problems above) i should be able to start her up again.
thanks
Joe

No, you're missing a larger rubber o-ring to put in place. It should not be able to "spin". You can take the bov to a home depot and find a new rubber ring, or check where you got the old one and see if it is still stuck in the flange

It's not a good idea for the dp to touch the oil return line. Try to do something about that also.

i was thinking about putting some heat wrap around the downpipe, i've never used it myself, so i'm not sure how well it works.
