Default my 1992 DA9, very slow build thread

Yo guys!
2 weeks ago I picked up my baby:

1992 Acura Integra
257k miles
5 speed
new tires

Im the car's second owner, and the first owner garage kept it since 1992!
She parked it outside over the winter when she got a brand new tl.

Since I got it, I have installed the following:
-installed my pioneer headunit, speakers, and subwoofer/amp
-installed yellow fog lights and rewired them to be seperate from the headlights
-installed sylvainia siverstar ultra's
-installed poly shifter bushings
-Polished head lights, foglights, and corner markers
-washed and detailed inside and out
-Rebuilt the shifter linkage with washers instead of bushings(fixed the sloppy shifter.

My questions for you guys, I have been searching for the last week and have found info but I still have some questions
-Are there any steering wheel spacers for the stock wheel, Im 6'6" and i barely have enough knee room to drive the car, let me heel toe, i have been side stepping lol

Ill have more questions shortly.. ON TO THE PICTURES OF THE CAR!

Recently, I noticed my shifter getting very loose, to the point where I was punching my passengers in the knee's trying to get to 5th gear. I went under the car and found this!

The one head of the pin that connects the shifter rod to the transmission shifter input broke and one of the bushings fell out entirely.

I replaced them with the closest thing I could find, a stak of about 25 5/16 washers. Before your flame me- the inside diameter of the transmission input end is 18mm, the washers are 17.96mm and fit very well. and imediately tightened up my shifter in conjunction with my Poly shift stabilizer bushings.

Finished product-

5/16 bolt with a nylock nut- will never come off.

Then I changed out my original 257k mile plugs out, the gap was close to .85- I have no idea how the car even ran xD. Put in new NKG v-powers with anti-sieze as the original plugs were damn near welded to the head..

old vs. new

also replaced the "quality replacement" brand oil filter with a fram extra guard and filled her back up with MaxLife oil.

The subwoofer I have came from craigslist. The previous owner managed to push it far enough to seperate the cone from the aluminum frame. which caused it to rattle and sound terrible so it was "broken" lol
Got it for free! its a $300 speaker and box.

So I had to re-adhere the cone to the frame, and I gave the cone a coat of paint because the factory finish was chipped and knicked.

Kicker Solobaric L7 S12-magnet is freaking huge.

Painting the cone-

Cone finished and un masked, glueing the surround back together

I got it for 1200 bucks. You see the show side of the car, there is a rust hole in the passenger rear quarter panel, and a small spot on the passenger door. that I have killed the rust on and primered till I can get the correct(also rare) paint to match.

I was thinking about finding a cheap universal with good bearings, or a smal CV joint to replace this. thats a great mod but I could do alot with 135 more dollars in my pocket

I just got approval to go to Universal Technical Institue, in PA so should pick up pace in a little bit :D
