My friend who has a civic told me that if i lock my steering wheel (as in i turn it till it clicks and stays in place while my keys are out of the ignition) it will be somewhat harder to steal my car since they have to unlock that.... is that true or is he bullshitting???

 

I doubt that will make any difference if that's the only security you've got going for you.

can't they just turn the wheel while busting the lock or rock the wheel back n forth as they bust the lock? I don't think it does much..

 

even if you didnt turn it till it clicks, as soon as the thief turns it itll click anyways, its not like it has to turn a whole lot for it to click, and if i were u, i'd atleast get an autolock or something, all i have in my car at the moment is an autolock, i feel a lot safer at night then i did before i got it, even though they can get it off in no time, itll still slow em down enough for me to find my baseball bat
