manuel trans swap, what all goes into it?
I've got a 99 honda civic automatic and I've had 4 standerds and this is my first auto....let's just say I hate autos there too boring. I know you need tranny...of course, ecu shift linkage but what else and what do I have to do to swap the pedals can I just swap in a cable system?
Get manual pedals from a 92-00 civic or 93-01 integra. Don't cut your brake pedal and don't just swap the brake pedal.
When you put the manual parts in, it's obvious what all has to come out. The box over the clutch hole in the firewall...throw it somewhere, it's not needed. Just tuck the wire up, don't bother cutting it or anything.

So she can use my car for dr apointments while I work and now that we have the baby she doesn't drive it so eff me!I wanted a standurd but she couldn't learn on my previos integra with a stage two clutch so she didn't want to try again.
