Oil Leak. . .Sending unit?
So my buddy asked me to help him fix his 1995 accord. I'm not knowledgable on these so a little help would be appreciated. It is leaking a considerable amount of oil. (1 quart every two weeks). I put it up on jacks and when it is running there is a drip every 1-2 seconds from around the oil filter area. It isn't the oil filter. Above the oil filter I can see a solid tube about 1 inch in diameter and the oil flows over that. I am assuming that is vacuum so not the source which leaves what i am guessing is the oil pressure sending unit which is directly above the oil filter (above that vac tube). There is no oil leaking from above that. I can see a visible stream over the tube but I cannot get a close look at that sending unit to see for sure. I am fairly certain that is the source (only other thing it could be is that tube) but I wanna check that my suspicions are true and if that is a common source. Like I said its my buddies car and I have plenty of my own chores to take care of so I don't have time to waste on fixing something that isn't broken. Thanks
