JUN built heads? Anyone know about this?
A friend in NY told me about buying a head from JUN USA, where cams/valvetrain/cam gears are all installed, and the head also has a mild port/polish job done to it. After you receive it you can send your stock head back to JUN as a core exchange. I've tried to do some research on pricing for this but have come up empty.
Does anyone here have a head built from JUN? How much did it cost and was it worthwhile?
OT: i was talking with someone else about why JUN3's put out some pretty decent dyno #'s whereas some people with serious tuning and compression upping have been putting out similar numbers. is this because most people who run Jun 2's or 3's dont bump their compression?
Thanks!

hmmmmm well im having a JUN built head but im puttin it together (the machine shop is). the head kit cost around 1800 for anystage cams, gears, and valvetrain. and got me a ITR head for 675 P&P for 900
And if you dont find any info on the JUN head deal, there always Tom at Portflow(hehehe).
And I believe Kwai has the JUN package for 1800 or 1900, and Im sure Leo should be able to get the same.
And there alot of other good shops on here too that can get the Head pakcage.

Alot of people I know that ran the JUN ecu didnt like it for some reason(or was it the spoon?)... I think SIINSI might have the JUN or Mugen ECU, IM him. He also has the JUN head package(this is not the P&P package your talking about)Just cams/gears/valvetrain.
I think he's making like 208-210whp and cant remeber the torque. And this is on the stock bottom end(JDM ITR motor).
But give kwai a call and see if they still have the JUN Cam package for that price.

Jun builds heads. I didn't think they did either but from what i've been hearing when i used to be at Kwai, they did do some head building. You should shop around for stuff though, JUN's got nice stuff but sometimes all you really need is some aggressive tuning and thats it! Drew, let me know what you wanna do and let me see if i can help out the cost at all.
