Please Help, my civic doesn't start!
Hi guys
I have a 7th generation 2001 Civic Vti Australian version. My wife has tried to remove the key while not in park several times yesterday and now the car won't start. When I came to the car this morning I was surprised to see the remote could not open the doors and the CD was out of the stereo. Now there is no immobilizer green light on panel at all (no flashing, no nothing). I checked the battery and it seems ok. When I turn the switch to II the lights on the instrument come on but not the green immobilizer light, the starter motor doesn't start at all. The stereo doesn't work either and I can hear a weird noise coming from behind the stereo like a periodic glitch. Please help, is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance.

Don't judge if the battery has juice based on whether or not the indicators on the cluster light up. It takes next to no power to illuminate them. Use a DMM to test the battery.
Try jumping the car, or using a different battery.
If that doesn't do the trick, post again.

The battery is maintenance free, It has the indicator that shows it's alright! I don't have the device, is there any other way to test it?
Edit: The problem WAS the battery, thanks mate. I jumped the car and it started but now it shows both EBrake and ABs light to gether. Any idea?
