Default Wilwood 140-6163 (12.19" Rotor/4-Piston)1

Work with a 16" wheel, Ive read so many different answers I'm not sure what to believe! :-/

Wilwood's site says it'll work with some 15" wheels, summit racing says it'll only work w/17" wheels...

Any ideas....

I have the 6 piston 12.19" setup with 16's. You can run 15's with the 4 piston as it doesn't take up too much space.

No go on 15inch wheels. Only the 11" version fits under. 16inch wheel for the 12.19" set.

You are wrong and don't have a clue, I can name TE27, CE28, Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 and 2's...............wheels these brakes will fit under.

Look at the picture I posted above: 15 X 7" wheels!

What offset are you running for the 15" and the 16" Wheels DB2-R81? Those info are important as well for the caliper to clear the spokes of the wheel. I have the same WW kit but no on the car yet. Running 16x7 +39 offset Weds Sport SA70.

Here you are Mr. CF:

The Mugen MF8 are 16 X 7" X +43mm
The Pro Race 1 are 15 X 7" X +23mm

The Pro race wheels are a low offset to clear the 23 X 9.0 X 15" cantilever slick tires I compete with not the brake calipers.

16" SSR Competition:

I cannot stress enough that the SPOKE PATTERN and BARREL DESIGN play a more important role in caliper clearance than offset does.

Case in point: my TE37 and Regamasters (+33 and +35 respectively) cleared my RL calipers whereas my GAB Sport (+38 and even a +22ish) would not and my Enkei J Speed III +25 needed to space the wheel 10mm to clear the inner barrel. Some wheels are designed with a larger barrel while some have a stepped barrel for whatever reason. I won't pretend to know and say it's for wheel rigidity. Just understand some wheels are shaped differently where it counts.

It is called a drop center and it is there so the bead of the tire can be mounted on to a rim, without it you would never get a tire on a wheel.
