just got my uego installed and the reads from the gauge and in crome are different. a lot different. i remember seeing a step by step on how to calibrate them but i cant find it anywhere. anyone have any light on the situation?
also, why doesnt the uego read above 17.8, it just goes --- and when im at wot it stays at 10.0.

What input (ECU pin) are you using to read the UGEO (WHT wire) output signal in Crome?
If the readings are off a bit between the two that could mean that you have to change the lambda offset correction. It is located in Crome in settings under the tuner logging tab.

However much Crome is off by you add/subtract that in the Offset Lambda (+/-) box.
As for your gauge readings, have you calibrated the O2 sensor?
Honestly anything under 10 is richer than you want and anything over 17 is way too lean anyway. If you are going below and above those I would adjust your fuel maps.
According to the AEM manual I have they are supposed to read from 10 - 19.98 AFR. You should check your manual and see if yours might be different. Or what the --- means. in some gauges --- means free air/no gas readings or that the voltage read is out of spec.

thanks. i got crome and the gauge to read almost the same. its only off by very very little. how would i know if the gauges us calibrated or not?
i tapped into d14 on the ecu harness with the white wire from the gauge.
