cant find a used gsr tb and bracket anywhere and a friend said i should build a bracket for my ls tb . does anyone have pics?

edit: forgot to mention the motor is a b20z2 with a gsr head. im going to be using the throttle body from the b20 (same as ls hence the title).

 

Why do you need a TB bracket? Are you talking about the throttle CABLE bracket?

 

in order to use my b20 tb, i need to run the cable under the manifold. i need some sort of bracket to hold the cable under there. don't know if that makes any sense.

it would be 1000X easier with a gsr tb but that's not an option until at least next week and i cant wait. need a quick short term fix

 

Ok I understand now. Short term fix I would get a small sheet of metal and make something that will fit. It doesnt have to be pretty.

Plumbers strap, I've used this in the past with good results and its only a couple of bucks for a roll.

 

yes sir. i used basically the same thing. found a piece of metal and made two holes. one mounted to a manifold bolt and the other to the ls bracket. distance of bracket to TB was perfect. no slack. thanks

 

gotta love functional ghetto fixes to hold you over until you can get a better solution lol
