real takata's?
im pretty stumped here...wondering if these are real. i compared them to other authentic ones and everything look legit, including the latch BUT i noticed the tag has only 2 of the diamond stitching touching it, while others had 3...

They're fake.
The shoulderpads that say "Takata" are of the 2nd generation harnesses and the earliest 2nd generation models expire in 2012, anything before is a 1st generation. Thats on top of only 2 of the diamond stitching touching the tag like you pointed out when its supposed to be 3. If you look at the diamond stitching on your set there should be a total of 4 "X's" but you only have 3. The FIA tag is using the wrong font as well but that'd be harder to tell unless you had a legit set right in front of you.

So basically you paid money for fake "jdm" harnesses that were out of date? Chances are if your buying Takata harnesses you prolly don't need them for any type of racing and trying to look cool I guess so it wouldn't matter if there in date or even real
