I'm not sure how good that header is, as it's quite convoluted. There are quite a few tight radius turns...would like to hear what the header manufacturers think about this design.

personally I don't like it, looks like it's rather restrictive.

Jesus, it looks like a bunch of headers started inbreeding. I dont see how that can beat a long primary header.

"Primary pipes merge before the oil pan to increase clearance"

I don't think it's "tuned" ... just piping that replaces the stock one.

I offered my car up to test one of these headers out against my HyTech, but the person selling the header told me that there is currently a fitment issue with the stock fans and AC.

I may be wrong, but I dont think theres any reason for a 4cylinder to have its header bend like V8 headers do. Looks like a gimmick to me.

Unless its made to be run open header I guess...

Can anyone say true equal length, tuned header? Ever seen an F1 header? Just a thought.

But the only reason to have different lengths is with dual exhaust cars that have 2 cylinders fireing in sequence on the same side of the engine. In which case, one of the cylinders should have a longer tube so all the gas from both cylinders doesn't hit the main exhaust pipe at the same time. But with a 4 cylinder with 1 exhaust, I dont see the point...

I think that 1st header was designed to be run on a 88-91 civic/crx while still being able to keep the stock crossmember.

Randy has made quite a few headers for people i know. He definately has some skills when it comes to welding. As for the power it makes, don't knock it until you see the dyno. BTW all his headers are designed to be run open header unless you ask specifically to have it designed for an exhaust.

As for clearances, all of them are designed on the car, so clearance will not be an issue between radiator/fan. Remember most of the headers are race headers, not meant to be street driven. Also its Randy's header, not Ericks racing header. He moves from shop to shop so i wouldn't count on it being referred to as Erick's racing header for long.
