Default auto swap into si crx possible?

I read online that automatic civic SI's were available in the canadian market only. If I was to find one of these cheap as a parts car, would the tranny bolt up to my ZC? If so, what would be involved with the ECU and harness work?

No they were available on your side of the border only. Yes the tranny will bolt up. You would have to run one line to the lockup for sure, also there is the issue with the reverse lights, and the shift interlock. These are small wiring changes. PS9 ecu is what you need.

technically you COULD use an ex sedan front body harness with modification... the sunroof wiring is a separate harness that plugs into the fuse box. however there's still the issue cutting the trans tunnel for the auto linkage and what not...

I did my car auto to manual dx to si.
and then just did a swap on my wifes crx dual point to multi point and hers in an automatic

both swaps were freaking annoying. had quite a few problems.
