Default JRSC ITR exhaust setup

Hello I'm building an 84x89 ITR and plan to JRSC. I'm going to run a 3" exhaust and want it to be quiet, unlikely I know.

So far this is what i'm thinking:
3" mandrel bent piping
2x Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonators
Car Sound/Hytech high Flow cAt
80mm Apexi WS2.

I know I'm going to restrict flow a little, but vibrant claims to be straight though design. So how restrictive will this setup be, and estimatedly how quiet should be? Near stock?

My next question is do skunk 2 pro 1 perform well with JRSC? I have them because I was going to use them n/a but I picked up a JRSC at a good price.

Skunk2 pro 1 are too aggressive. GSR/ITR combo is the best cam setup, but either pure GSR or ITR setup would be better then the skunk2s.

I have no idea how loud it'll be. I run a cat and twin loop exhaust and mine setup is stock quiet until I open it up.

I had an Apexi WS2, but it was the 60mm version and the 80mm version is straight through. Mine was very very quiet with a cat. Yours will probably be a little louder but shouldn't be too bad just because of the straight through design of the 80mm WS2. Pick up a set of CTR or 00-01 ITR cams.

I currently have ITR cams in the head, but I just bought skunk 2 pro 1 and was planning to swap them in when I put the head on the block. Then I came across a JRSC for super cheap and couldn't resist.

If my exhaust make no sound at all, I would be happy. Im not a fan of a loud exhaust but I need the larger exhaust for performance. And I know a 3" quiet exhaust is rare.

Also - will 310 RC injectors be sufficient or will I need to upgrade to a higher cc?

If your running about 5-7 psi 310cc injectors are good over that go with 440cc injectors.
i ran the sk2 pro 1 on a high comp gsr motor at 6psi 2.5 inch buddy club spec 3 catback some other simple mods and made 230hp, since the comp on the motor was high the cams helped bring static compression down a bit. check my first jrsc build started on pg 1. check my second jrsc setup a few pages after hit 285hp on a race setup.

This is currently what I'm thinking.
84x89 ITR
10.5:1 Compression
550cc injectors
Stock 99-00 SI B16 JRSC. I know its an m62 but what size nose pulley. I'm looking to go from 6 to 8 PSI, not much more than that. Too hot in Texas. Looking for insight on how to jump to 8 PSI safely/effectively.

For SC's cam choice should involve a good sized intake and a bigger exhaust.. SC create a ton of exhaust gases, which makes the cam choices between the s/c and turbo setup completely different..

a gsr intake and ITR exhaust cam would be a good bases to start with.

That's the cam combo I'm going to use. What's a good aftermarket cam setup? And how do I jump my psi to 8? I figure 10 psi will have detonation issues.

You must change pulleys to increase PSI on a JRSC. IF you have time call ASP

http://www.aspracing.com/index.html

YOU HAVE TO CALL its not on their site, they make the best pulleys for the JRSC but there is a 6-8 week lead time.

I dont have 6-8 weeks. I mean I do but id have to retune. I don't want to run the CRV pulley because I hear a lot of belt slippage occurs. And the endyn stepper pulley will put me at about 10-11 psi.

Endyn stepper is inferior to the ASP design and normally increases boost preside 2 psi

MVM is another stepper pulley manufacturer.

Calling ASP to get details on lead time is your best option.

Just called them. 4 weeks wait. That's a really long time.

I have looked. Through 100 of pages. The B16 comes with 6 PSI. With a CRV pulley I should jump up to about 8, however CRV pulley on a b16 will have slip issues correct? Next is the endyn pulley. They have 3 left in stock, and will jump me to 10 or 11 PSI. That is much too high.

I have seen nothing on an LS pulley though. And am unsure about a GSR

Do you have a link to what psi different pulleys will produce?

I did find this:

http://ftlracing.com/tech/honda/jrsc_pulley.html

Which says a B16 with a LS pulley will produce about 8.6 psi. However, I have a 2.0L motor and not the 1.6. Does this alter the accuracy of this information? I'm nearly positive I have a 4.2 nose pulley.

Also - I just noticed the kit may have came with a UR alternator pulley. How iwll that affect PSI
