The key wasn't with the car when I bought it. I think someone stole it trying to keep anyone else from buying it. Based off of what I saw with all fluids perfect, AC system holding charge and nothing tampered with. It probably runs. When I get it towed I plan to drive it right off the trailer. I'll know when I get it in my possession. I doubt someone would have all that stuff done to it an it not run.

As far as what I want for it. I'm taking offers now before I have any of my sweat and time into it. So, look at what I will potentially be taking off and make me an offer for it. The perfect scenario for me would be to get it in my possession, start it, drive it off the trailer, pull the parts I want off of it and have someone come pick it up the same day.

I've parted another del sol out before so I know what I can make in parts. I just don't want to part another car out. I still have parts from doing that before with other cars.

I listed in the original post what I am keeping for myself. The headlights are the main thing as my project Del Sol has no headlights. The carbon fiber hood I don't HAVE TO have. I would rather keep my car all the same color. So you can make me an offer on that. The other stuff is on my "keeping for myself" list I believe. Money talks, but the headlights stay with me. Might sound crazy, but that's why I just bought the car, I wanted the headlights. I do crazy stuff like that.

I'll have the car in my possession within the next two hours. The first person who makes me a reasonable offer that I accept and will guarantee when they will pick up will get it.

I.E.-wheels/tires, rolling shell, non rolling shell etc.

Wheels and tires look like they are practically new. Light curbing on the right side wheels. The left side is mint. I have taken close ups for you. They haven't even been on the car long enough to have brake dust build up. The tires are fresh.

As I mentioned above I JUST got my hands on the car a little over an hour ago. They are dirty from the lot that it was in. So I haven't even cleaned anything on it. Below are some pictures. Make me an offer.

And here is a picture of the carbon fiber hood. Since people keep asking about it. It does not have any cracks. It is not faded. It does not have any clear coat peeling. I do not see a badge on it to identify the brand. So, looking on eBAy a no name carbon fiber Del Sol hood goes for $425 shipped. You can see from the picture that it fits perfect on the car and I can tell you that it lines up properly to open and close. I'll sell this one for $300.

 

Got the car started. Starts and runs fine. But then it started raining hard as soon as I did. So I'll drive it around tomorrow as long as it's not raining.

 

Drove the car around the block. Pulls great. Goes through all gears good. Burns oil. Doesn't overheat. Let it idle for an hour and it's 90 plus degrees out here.
