Default Pulling out my f22b engine

man i had to give up while i was tryna pull my engine out, im only tryna pull my motor, leavin the transmission there but everytime i pull the motor up the transmission comin up wit it too, i got under and all over, made sure nothin like bolts screws are connected, idk am i missin something?

Did you remove the bell housing bolts? Did you remove the access cover to the Torque converter and remove the bolts that connect the drive plate to the torque converter?

get a pry bar and wedge it apart a bit. It should slide apart if you have all the right bolts off. It needs to slide to the side about an inch or so before its completely able to be pulled straight up. but honestly i think its easier to just remove both together and put it back together before dropping it back in.

i dont think i did all that, ima look in the book to see where all that is located. i jus took out the big bolts around the tranny

that means i would have to take the CV axles off

yeah, pull out the entire engine/tranny deal. wayyy easier less friggin around when puttin it all back in place

idk i figure i jus pull the engine only so i dont have to worry about the tranny
