i'm just about finished taking all my stuff out of the car before it gets sent away...man i never knew that this day would come so fast...i thought i was gonna have this car for 10 more years....we've been through a lot and she never let me down when i needed her......she was always there for me......

some lady hit me on the rear pass 1/4 panel the damage is over $3000 to repair and i guess my car is worth less than that but it means the world to me.......

 

get the insurance money, and but it back. And buy another EF.
My rear 1/4 panel is banged up. I was told 400$.

 

oh for sure i will get another EF....besides thats all i can afford right now....

it sucks though cuz i saw this white dx i think 1990 model...and some lady wants $4800 for it. according to the trader around my area, its in mint condition with 176,000 kms

you guys think its worth it...

theres also a 90 Si white but its automatic....175000kms $4800

i dunno which one to go for....

hmm... over $3000..dude thats a lot... i got a hit and run on my driver side where the gas tank is at.. if i want to get it fix, would it cost the same? so does that mean my car is salvage title?

 

How much would $4800 canadian be in US dollars? And its not that many miles since it's in kilometers.

 

i dunno its hard to say....all i know is whenever an Ef gets hit on the rear quarter panels, they're basically a write off.......someone correct me if i'm wrong...

i don't even know if i should buy the car back...although i want the Si motor and tranny and the coilovers...

well i found a couple EFs around my area for sale but i might go with a 1990 integra for just under $4000. i'm sure i can negotiate and bring it down close to $3000....

i dunno yet....i can' get a hold of my adjuster....but i hope i get at least $2000 plus money for the Si motor and tranny....

and for those of you who dont know $1 US is approx $1.50-1.55 canadian depending on the value of the dollar
and 60k miles = 100k km's

so this si with 175k km's for 4800 is a little over 100k miles for right around $3000


edit: and zcivicz i dunno if you're interested at all but my car is for sale... i havnt advertised yet but im seriously sick of my car and id like to get something different............ so yeah im open to an offer, be it in its current form or back to stock... its garaged since new, 95k original km's

hey man, $4800cdn is alot for a EF dxwith 176K on it...
i'd look around more cuz i bought mine for $1800cdn with 70K on it.. its a cx thoe..
it runs really well, no dents, only minor rust under quarter panels.

so i suggest u should look around more... for $4800 u can easily find a EG!

the damage is fixable and you might be able to buy the car back for under $1000 and still have $2000 to play with

that happened to my moms car and we bought her car back for $500

 

I picked up my mint 90 si w/ 190,000kms for $3800 Canadian

( is this a coincedence or is it like freaking curse on all EF's? ) i drive a 4dr btw.. when i was under the car i saw the frame was bent a little... grrrrrrrrrrrr but it's wierd... i think it was "fixed"? and resold... it's not bad but the whole side of my car is mis-aligned abit.. like trunk door bumpers and stuff but other then that car is mint

wow you guys buying EFs for soo expensive... 150K Efs go for what? 2000? Si go for 2500? it depends.. an 89 4dr DX goes for 1000-3000 and i've seen some mint ones for 1000 and 3000 are just those screwed up ladies that try to sell the car for more then it's worth...

for 4000 you can get an EG... 6000 EK in toronto

You're right. Unless the shop fills the entire side of the car with bondo.... Unfortunately you can't really remove the rear 1/4 panels, once those things are bashed in - you're screwed. I've got a dent in my drivers side rear panel, but it isn't too bad... But it's very frusterating, some stupid girl hit me... and I didn't get any money for it!!! It was her fualt!!!! ARGH!

Whatever you do, don't buy an automatic - it's too slow.

 

seriously? ek for 6000? i might have to fly out there and drive one back. how much do integras go for out there, 90-93 and 94+
