Wondering what is the best way to disable my ABS system on a 95 GS-R. I like the ABS system on these cars. It feels very capable especially compared to some GM cars Ive had so Im not ready to eliminate it fully.. but I want to take it out of commision durring autoX.
Im sure I could find several ways to shut it down but I thought Id check before I try to forrest gump my way through it and fry something or get codes.

 

Isn't there a fuse for the ABS system?

 

Ya theres a fuse and a relay.

 

Pull the fuse and I think you're good to go. You'll get an ABS warning light but the system will be shut down.

 

I pull the 10A fuse in the abs unit box under the hood. Replace it when you are ready for abs again. Works well, no problems.
