Help my ZC Run, Still Codes Replaced Sensor
I bought an o2 sensor yesterday and today I went to the junkyard and bought a cylinder position sensor. When I try to start the car it wont run by just turning the key, I have to have my foot on the gas to get it going. Once it starts going I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it going and right after it starts the check engine light comes on. I'm still getting code 9 and not running well, what should I do?
Read the last three replies to your other post. I actually had it backward from what Dustin is saying, but mine was throwing the same code as yours... I did the same thing as you... got them same results as you... and then it actually ended up being the sensor in the distributor instead of the one on the exhaust cam. That's what I was trying to tell you yesterday, but I guess I got confused about which sensor is where.
Bottom line... On of the sensors on the exhaust cam, the other is in the distributor. If it isn't one, its probably the other.
