Default Cooling problems

94 ex coupe

My cooling fan wasn't working for a while, and my temp would shoot up. I used the heater to help keep the engine cool. I replaced the sensor next to the thermostat, still didn't work. I replaced the relay for the fan yesterday. I stood there untill the fan kicked on. Driving down the road later my car started heating up again. It doesn't do it when I'm driving down the highway. It just heats up when I'm moving slow for a while, or if I'm stopped for a while with the engine running My a/c recently quit blowing cold air too. I don't know if the two relate.
I'm at a loss.

Could it be the head gasket?

Could it be the short ram intake sucking in hot air from my header and bay.

Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllp!!?!?!?! ?

your fan comes on and you still overheat? make sure you don't have air in your coolant. do a search in the archives, this topic has been covered so much, we each should have our thermodynamics degree

worst case is a bad water pump..but it sounds like ur not getting water into the block to cool it off...thermostate sending unit might be bad
