NJ 2006 Honda Civic Si with HFP goodies all around!
**SOLD a while back**
Hello,
Up for sale is my 2006 Honda Civic Si. It has over/under 94,000 miles on it and it drives like it has A LOT less. I just came back from a 1200 mile round trip from Ohio and it did not skip a beat. It runs great. I welcome and even encourage you to get it checked by Honda or your personal mechanic and I am confident he/she will say the same.
The bad:
Salvage title. It was hit on the driver side front causing the front driver airbags to go off. They were replaced along with the sensors. Due to the miles, repair, and airbag deployment, it was deemed a total loss. That is why the title is branded salvage. However, like I wrote above, it drives excellent and there is little to NO evidence it was involved in a crash. Only your secret.
The good:
I hate to write this again but it it does run great. It has mostly highway miles on it from me and the previous owner (how else will you drive 94k miles in 4-5 years). It is maintained well. On the trip I wrote about 2 paragraphs above, I achieved 32.46 mpg without even trying. Granted, it was all highway but it still got much higher than the EPA rating. The Air Conditioning was on the whole way (blows ice cold). The stereo system is spectacular (350watt) with an aux input for your ipod or other mp3 device. There is no rust as there shouldn't be. It has only been filled up with premium fuel by the previous owner and myself. I clean and wash all my cars every 2 weeks so it is well kept. It comes with Honda Factory Performance (HFP) parts. The HFP parts are not aftermarket and are from Honda themselves. It has the Sport Muffler which isn't loud but does sound nice and deep when/if you get on it. It has the factory body kit on it too which looks great! Also, it has the sport suspension which makes the car handle better and gives it a mild drop giving it a better looking stance.
Only reason for the sale is I'd like to purchase another Honda Insight (I owned the first gen but would like the 2nd gen this time around) as I do commute nearly 100 miles daily.
Well, any questions or pictures you need, please do ask. Thanks for looking.
