Which cars came with 3 Bolt Post?
I have been searching and asking people and nobody has a firm answer.
Can someone please shead some light for me...
Which Hondas/Acuras came with the 3 Bolt Post Driverside motor mount?
I am looking for the actual post to replace my 2 Bolt post. Also does anyone one have insight on which setup out of the two is better and way? I was told 2 is bigger bolts but then someone else said the 3 bolt is stronger.
Thanx,
Dre

If you are talking about the drivers engine mount post....they are all a 2 bolt setup (as far as civic and Integra's go). There is no issues with strength in the design

No im afraid you're incorrect; if that was the case I would not have the issue I am dealing with. I am planning on buying a set of Innovative Motor Mounts off a buddy but since Innovative sells the sets in both 2 Bolt and 3 Bolt post set up (because there is a difference) I happen to have 2 Bolt which is the most common nd his set is the the 3 Bolt:: Thus my Dilemma
Hmm, i don't ever recall seeing a civic that has a drivers post mount with 3 bolts. At least an ek that is, i don't recall what an eg mount looks like
This is what the post mount looks like on my 00 EM1- 2 bolts, i do not think i am wrong in saying what i did

and here are what the drivers side engine post mounts look like beside each other ek civic vs dc integra

No they did not, they were two post as were the CR-Vs
EKs were all 2 bolt. EGs look exactly the same as Integra, if you want to get technical the 2 post mounts actually have 2 studs, not bolts, the 3 post have 2 studs and a bolt. Quickest way to tell is the 3 post mounts use an aluminum driver's side mount. As far as why you don't recall seeing them? I think I can explain that. Of the cars listed I think only the Si coupes were available in '94 - '95, The Si and VX hatches were unavailable in Canada at that point, as were the EX-V sedans.
