Anyone have an authentic bride cuga seat? I have an odd question about how its made.
Would someone with an authentic bride CUGA seat please check to see if there are springs under the seat, or was the cuga intentionally designed without?
For some reason I came across a cuga seat that had no support in the middle of the bottom cushion, very weird. There are no springs / support. So basically when you sit, the only support is in the front of the cushion (theres a metal bar there) and your backrest. There are two elastic "bands" going across the bottom of the seat frame, but that's it.
If you were to push on the middle of the bottom seat cushion with your hand, the cushion will just give - quite a bit, compared to the front.
I might be thinking out of the box, but i've been having some back pain issues and this issue with no support on the bottom of the seat has got me thinking a little. If bride intentionally made the seat this way, I think the GIAS bucket would be better because it would have a solid support on the lower cushion; it should be a solid bucket of FRP, none of this "suspended by elastic" stuff, no? :D
Thanks in advance.
