Default Help: Motor mounts and slamming your car

I was going to buy after market mounts today. I am planning on completely slamming my car. I want motor mounts that will raise my motor a bit more than stock but still let me close my hood, also I would like the least vibration possible.

what would be my best option?

Avid

innovative

hasport

?

thanks guys!

none of them. mounts are meant to keep the motor in its original position. not to mention that if you raise your motor your axles will not be properly aligned and will break, your shift linkage will not sit right and you will risk grinding gears.

raising your motor is all bad unless you're prepared for a whole bunch of custom fab work and have plenty of $$$$$$$$$$ to throw at it. You can run slammed with the motor in the stock position, just be prepared to change your oil pan every now and again lol. My teg was looowwww and I never had any serious problems with motor clearance, just a lot of downpipe/exhaust scraping.
