hey guys i have a 2009 civic si black
i like the look of the 2 door with no wing so i was wanting to know
how easy would it be for a trunk swap and what all will be required
any pics of cars from the same angle would be helpful

what are the laws regarding the third brake light in your area? We have to retain the stock lighting here, and that means no removal of the spoiler, unless it is replaced with another lit spoiler. The rear window deck is filled with your speakers and sub, so putting in a window mounted TBL is not an option without some serious re-modelling.

 

He can get an EX rear deck.

As far as I know you should be fine regarding a trunk swap. I actually have a few Civic-owning buddies back East that have contemplated the same swap and the few that actually went through with the switch have evaded any sort of problems with the local constables. Thus far

You'll need the trunk lid (part # 68500-SVB-A81ZZ) and perhaps even the weather stripping (part # 74865-SVA-A01). The trunk hinges may be able to be retained but I'm not entirely certain
