Default Toy in the A/C

hey guys, i have a 2000 civic coupe and the previous owner's kid dropped a toy in the A/C, i dont know how but they did. whenever the A/C runs it starts to crackle and sometimes if you hit a bump it stops, and hit another bump it can continue once more, im getting really tired of it.

is it hard to try to remove the toy by yourself?
or how much is it for a mechanic to do it?

thanks guys really appreciate it

Where in the vents is it? If it's the 2 outer ones you can pop them off and use a coat hanger or something to fish them out. If it's the inner vents then be prepared to start ripping apart the dash.

If you remove three screws, the blower motor drops down and out.

Also, I assume it has a molex type connector?

Look up from below the glove box to see the blower motor and its screws. Run of the mill connector.

its the outer vents, so ur saying its as easy as popping off the cover and using some close hanger?

taking vents out can be tricky sometimes. i use the buttends of a butter knife. usually works for me, or get a set of plastic pry tools. because plastic on plastic doesn't usually mar the other part.
take your time
