Can anyone quickly verify if this is real or knock off? I got it pretty cheap off craigslist along with intercooler or stuff so i decided to take a chance on it. Am gonna rebuild it and balance if its legit and if not just resell it. Just thought I'd see if anyone here knew for sure before sending garrett company the pics for clarification. THANKS!

 

yup, real garrett. Looks like a standard t3, .48/.60 capable of about 300whp. Will spool very fast. I wouldnt re-build it unless it absolutely needs it.

 

perfect! good to hear. It has some shaft play so i was gonna rebuild it then send it off to get balanced. Or i might just have the rebuild done proffesionaly to be safe. Anybody know a good so cal shop that can do this work?
