Default 2JZ Manifold Porting

Finished up some porting on a 2J manifold today. Going to town on the exhaust ports looking for the best possible flow with these babies. We really focus on the porting process it helps a ton with our experience. How do you guys get down?

Interesting you say that. How much is a ton?
I was curious as to why the last full race manifold I worked on had no penetration...
Maybe the pen causes turbulence?

Exhaust spool giving great mid range transition to also peak power would be our TON. It's all very relative to your specific setup but I wanted to address taking extra steps to not leave anything on the table.
I could see possible turbulence if there was A LOT of material built up during penetration. We try to focus on the transition while welding and porting to eliminate possible turbulence.

That is a beautiful manifold DOC.

If you don't mind me asking, what size is the tubing?

In my experience it doesn't really make a difference, but obviously it depends how bad it was to start with. Steps can sometimes actually aid flow.
