I'd like to go to 2.5" piping...which cat do I need? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to throw any CEL's...

From the looks of acuraoemparts I think I need option number 1 correct? From the looks of car sounds "direct fit" Cat it looks like its only the GSR that has a bung... Does it matter?

Forgive my ignorance in advance...just want to make sure and order the correct Cat. Trying to avoid return hassle etc...

Do you have an OBD1 ECU. If so, one and only one bung is all you need. The purpose of the bung-free cat I think is for people who are going to be custom installing a bung or who already have one on the A-pipe somewhere. So get option #1 or get #2 and have a bung welded on. If you're using an OBD2 ECU you'll need a bung behind the cat as well.
