Do I need to worry about backspacing with new wheels?
I am thinking about getting new wheels for my EG. These are the wheels I am looking at: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...nt&showRear=no and I am unsure if I have to really worry about the backspacing. Do I need to worry about the backspacing? I know the wheels say 5.35" for the backspacing, but not sure of the backspacing of my eg. It`s kinda making me worry if I will have to get spacers for them lol...
The only thing you need to worry about with your car is the following:
- diameter
- width
- offset
- lug pattern
With a +40 offset, you won't have to worry about anything with those wheels. As long as they are 4x100 lug pattern, they will fit.

It is important to consider what the wheel will hit if there isn't enough clearance. I agree, as long as you have about +40 you're good. Just make sure the outer edge of the wheel doesn't hit fender.
