I just put a D16a9+(wiring) engine in my '88civic*(D16a6). I have a new ECU (pm7) but there is still a problem because 1 plug doesn't fit. The D16a9 has 2 wires less. Does anyone know what modifications i have to do???

 

I heard there are some modifications needed on the distribuater.

I din't put my Si harness on the DOHC engine. The old harness is still on the DOHC engine. So must i rewire my ECU?

 

You need to use the harness that came with your car.

 

Why? are there any diferences? All the plugs fit accept for one because there is a sensor less on the DOHC engine

im guessing it the cam sensor, i had to run the wires from the sensor to the ecu,i have some diagrams ill see if i cant get them up later
