Well, here's my gathering...

You dont want to put wheel screws into the slicks with tubes. Or at least I wouldnt. Tubes are expensive as ****, and if a screw put a hole in one (which is shouldnt if its the right length), that would SUCK!!!

If you dont run tubes, they will most likely leak. Some faster than others. I have Bogarts, which are guaranteed not to leak. My M/Ts did leak, but with the M&Hs, they dont. Well, they might leak a few PSI over a couple of weeks time. But not enough to worry me at all. They are designed to be run with tubes, but not completely necessary. MOST racers I know, import or domestic, dont run tubes.

The only reason you might want to beadlock, is so you can keep the tire from slipping on the rim. But the biggest reason I can see, that you dont want it to slip, is so that you can balance the wheel/tire. Otherwise, they only slip like 1/4" a pass usually. Not enough to do anything.

Mine arent balanced, the tires slip (I cant bring myself to drill into my nice Bogarts), and I cant feel any shake or vibration at the track.

Hope that helps.
