Default Just installed raceland coilovers....

Today i had just installed raceland coilovers on my 05 rsx, and experiencing some type of whistling noise when im driving, which is coming from the front. I did purchase the ep3 tie rod ends and they worked out fine. doesnt seem like im rubbing at all, and im at a 2"- 2.25" drop roughly. not positive. i have stock 16" wheels with 205/55 tires. just not really sure what this noise is. and I still havent gotten an aligment, which i will be getting monday. any input would help. heres a video of the noise.

Your toe is probably all messed up. Alignment should fix it

This. The video sounds like your tires faintly screaching. I recently installed Buddyclub N+ coilovers with a 2" drop. My alignment was fine before the coilovers, but, after the install my toe was out pretty bad. It was out so bad that the inside of my tires were worn down to the cords within a couple thousand km's. Get that alignment done ASAP to prevent excessive tire wear and you will probably notice a huge different with your steering.

I lowered my EP3 on racelands. Toe was so bad i barely got to my friends house a mile away. OUr suspension goes all out of wack really easy. I did a DIY alignment with strings and the tires are good and qiet now.

mr. spade, if you aren't gonna post anything helpful GTFO. i really hate lame asses like you who do nothing for the forum and it's users both new and old.

anyway, i agree with an alignment issue. but regardless a shop should be able to help you diagnose further.

haha. i do understand what you mean about mr.spade...not contributing to the thread at all

but i do agree with him on that racelands suck....

should never cheap out on your suspension. just save up for an extra month or two and get the real deal. or search for a great deal on something legit.

but it's whatever floats your boat.

you should always go for an alignment anytime you do anything to your suspension. ESP after a coilover install

firestone has a great lifetime alignment service. just be sure to find a competent tech and always take it back and request only him to do the alignment. i paid 150 for mine few months ago and i've been back 3 times already. i'm about to go back again after i install new lca bushings. it's well paid itself by now

Yeah i know man... you get what you pay for. and yeah it just sucked working every day and never having a chance to go down and get one. after only 3 days of driving after putting my coilovers on and no alignment the inside of my tires were trashed! haha nd my work is down the street. i didnt think they would wear down that fast. but thanks for the input
