Hey HT, I found this catalytic converter laying around the garage, it looks to be in pretty good shape, only problem is I don't know what it goes to. It has this inscribed, CA/CE 99000 94000 01 08. Anyone have an idea? Thanks.

 

Scrap it, the Platinum inside will fetch you a few bucks...

Pics, length(flange to flange), is it from a Honda/Acura?

 

A quick google search of the alphanumeric code say that it is from a 3rd gen F-body GM (82-92 Camaro & Firebirds)

 

ooooh, some of those GM catalytic converters will fetch you a pretty good price, $70-100. I found one on the side of the road once, I got $80 for it. Woohoo!

 

I'm not sure what it was from, I dont have a pic because I'm not home but its a copper brown color, and I know its 14 in long by about 6 in wide. Also, there is no o2 sensor hole. Any ideas? Thanks for the replies.

 

BTW, I'm leaning towards a honda.

Expect about $40 for an OEM Civic cat.

Aftermarket ones they give you like $6
