Clutch cable problems

I got a 89 si w/ a b20b swap, ls tranny. My cable snapped the other day so i bought a new one and installed it, It snapped as soon as i put it on , the piece on my transmission fork looks to be bent , anyone know what im talking about ? im lost

If it's bent then straighten it out...

no it actually snapped the little hoop part off that the cable sits in ..
